abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery having high energy density, high battery capacity per unit mass, and excellent stability, and a simple manufacturing method thereof. . SOLUTION: The secondary battery is a secondary battery using an oxidation-reduction reaction of an active material in a charge / discharge process, wherein the active material contains an organic material subjected to a spin labeling treatment. Therefore, specific gravity is small and weight can be reduced. Further, the battery capacity per unit mass can be increased, and the stability in a charged state or a discharged state is excellent. Further, the energy density can be increased.
