(57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery having high energy density, high battery capacity per unit mass, and excellent stability, and a simple manufacturing method thereof. . SOLUTION: The secondary battery is a secondary battery using an oxidation-reduction reaction of an active material in a charge / discharge process, wherein the active material contains an organic material subjected to a spin labeling treatment.
