abstract | (57) [Summary] (Problems corrected) [PROBLEMS] To form a pixel portion by applying ink to a stripe-like lyophilic region formed on a photocatalyst containing layer using an ink jet device. Even when the pixel portions are formed by arranging the heads in series along the stripe-shaped lyophilic region, the seams between the heads are not conspicuous in the formed pixel portions, and the quality is determined to be poor. Provided is a method for manufacturing a color filter capable of obtaining a color filter without defects. SOLUTION: The step of applying ink with an ink jet device is a step of applying ink by moving a head of the ink jet device relatively to a stripe in a lyophilic region in a vertical direction, and the head is lyophilic. It is characterized by comprising a plurality of heads arranged along the stripe of the region, and further arranged so that the longitudinal ends of adjacent heads overlap. |
