titleOfInvention Strain measurement sensor
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Object] To provide a small-sized, light-weight, high-performance fiber breakage detection type strain measurement sensor with excellent handleability. [Solution] Continuous fiber such as silicon carbide fiber is oxidized in air. A treatment is performed to form an oxide film on the surface. Further, the single fiber strength distribution is adjusted by performing a heat difference treatment or a chemical treatment. The continuous fiber bundles 2 thus obtained are arranged in one direction, and are integrated and composited with a base material such as a fiber reinforced composite material as an insulating material, a resin, a metal, and ceramics to be molded. Then, an electrode is applied to the obtained one-way composite material to create a strain measurement sensor 1. Even before the silicon carbide fiber breaks, the electrical resistance increases with an increase in strain, and a gradual increase in the rate of change in electrical resistance is observed in the low strain region. Increase significantly.
