Water is supplied to water user faucet equipment (41, 42, 43) by maintaining a withdrawable water flow in a recirculation loop. The loop includes a pump (20) for transferring thermal energy to the water while creating and maintaining the flow, a water distribution path extending from the pump to the faucet facility, and a water return extending from the faucet facility to the pump. A pathway and one or more water treatment devices (30, 31) for improving the potability of the water in the loop and transferring additional thermal energy to the water. The user of the water can controllably withdraw this stream at the facility, while the unextracted portion of this stream is directed to the water return path. Due to this recirculation, the sensitivity of the recirculation loop and the water in this loop to the ambient temperature is reduced and the water can be distributed at the freezing temperature without external heating. |
