(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a method for producing a cloned transgenic mammal (eg, a goat). The method comprises creating a somatic cell line, such as a transgenic somatic cell line that can be used as a donor cell, and introducing the somatic cell genome into enucleated oocytes, preferably naturally mature terminal oocytes. Creating a cloned transgenic mammal by forming a reconstructed embryo and implanting the reconstructed embryo. The invention also encompasses cell lines, reconstituted embryos, and cloned transgenic mammals. |
