abstract | (57) [Summary] To provide a deodorizing apparatus which is easy to maintain and can reduce the running cost and the maintenance cost of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The deodorizing device 1 includes a dust removing unit 2, a plasma reaction unit 3, a heater unit 4, a catalyst filling unit 5, an acid gas absorbing unit 6, and an air guiding unit 7. The dust removing unit 2 removes dust from gas containing dust and odorous components. The plasma reaction unit 3 generates non-equilibrium plasma by discharging, Processes gas containing odorous components. The catalyst filling unit 5 is filled with a catalyst that further processes the processed gas by a catalytic action. The acidic gas absorbing section 6 absorbs the acidic gas generated by the gas processing. The air guiding means 7 guides the gas from the dust removing unit 2 toward the acidic gas absorbing unit 6 side.
