abstract (57) An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing benzylamines represented by the following formula (2) in a high yield and industrially advantageous manner without using a special reaction apparatus. The reduction reaction is carried out while continuously supplying benzonitriles represented by the following formula (1) into the reaction system. However, m represents an integer of 1 to 4, n represents an integer of 0 to 4, and 1 ≦ (n + m) ≦ 5. R represents a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an amino group, or a hydroxy group, and when n is 2 or more, R may be the same or different. [Chemical 1]
