abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] In a water supply water quality monitoring method for a power plant that circulates and uses water used in a boiler, the current state of the water supply conditions of the boiler water pipes and other constituent materials in the current state are described. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for monitoring the quality of water supply to a power plant, which monitors the quality of a water supply of a power plant by using an index that directly and unambiguously indicates what is being detected and that can be detected and measured continuously and immediately. SOLUTION: The power generation has at least a high-temperature and high-pressure boiler, a steam turbine driven by steam generated by the boiler, and a condenser for condensing exhaust gas from the steam turbine, and circulates water supplied to the boiler. A method for monitoring the quality of feedwater of a plant is characterized in that a redox potential of feedwater and a corrosion potential of a boiler water tube constituent material are detected and the quality of the water is monitored.
