titleOfInvention System having a removable data transfer module for transferring data from an analysis system to a data processing unit
abstract (57) [PROBLEMS] To design an analysis system having a detachable data transfer module which enables convenient, economical and reliable evaluation of analysis data. The present invention relates to a pluggable data transfer module and a method used for transferring data from an analysis system to a data processing unit in a wiring-free manner. The data transfer module converts an electrical signal to an electromagnetic signal or an acoustic signal, or converts the electromagnetic signal and the acoustic signal to an electrical signal, and a conversion unit for the electromagnetic signal or the acoustic signal, which is compatible with a calibration module interface of the analytical instrument. A communication unit is provided for enabling data transfer. The invention is particularly suited for medical applications that are becoming desirable for processing patient analysis data.
