abstract | A pigment has a small dispersed particle size, is excellent in water resistance, can be printed on plain paper without cockling, and has a problem of rubbing of printed matter when printed on a cation-treated recording medium. It is an object of the present invention to provide a pigment ink composition having no rubbing resistance and having excellent rub resistance. A pigment ink composition containing a pigment, a resin having an acidic group, and an organic solvent having a boiling point of 150 ° C. or higher, wherein the organic solvent occupies 50 to 95% by weight of the entire ink composition. As a coating film sliding test, a coating film coated with a # 04 bar coater (manufactured by Toyo Seiki Co., Ltd.) and dried on a cation-treated recording medium was slid with a cloth on which a 50 g weight was placed. When it is moved, it exhibits excellent rub resistance, that is, no rubbing of the coating film is observed. [Selection diagram] None |
