abstract Provided are a negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery, a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery, and a method for producing the same, which can exhibit excellent conductivity and cycle characteristics when used in a lithium secondary battery. The active material particles include 99 to 95% by mass of graphite particles having an average particle size of 5 to 50 μm and a ratio of the major axis to the minor axis (major axis / minor axis) of 4 or less of 90% by mass or more; A negative electrode material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising a mixture of 1 to 5% by mass of conductive material particles having an average particle diameter of 1 μm or less.
