titleOfInvention Flexible pad for collecting and absorbing liquid
abstract The flexible pad (1) comprises a layer formed from an absorbable material and a moldable material arranged substantially parallel to each other. For example, a selected moldable material, such as an aluminum thin film, can take on a desired shape and retain the desired shape. Consequently, the moldable material may be shaped such that the flexible pad defines an area of the container for collecting and absorbing liquid. Said flexible pad (1) may comprise one or more layers to define the region of the liquid protective layer (3). The flexible pad (1) may be used to collect excess liquid produced during medical procedures such as cleaning wounds, or in other areas that are not medical areas that collect liquid May be used.
