abstract |
A method for dry coating food particles having a size in the range of about 0.5 mm to about 20.0 mm is disclosed. The resulting coated food particles have substantially the same moisture level as the uncoated food particles. Also disclosed is a method of enclosing frozen liquid particles having a size in the range of 5 micrometers to 5 millimeters with a liquid coating material. Also disclosed are coated food particles and encapsulated frozen liquid particles produced by one of the methods of the present invention. |
