abstract Provided is a portable brush cutter in which a handle and a vibration isolating member are reasonably assembled. A cutting blade mechanism part 5 such as a cutting blade 6, a gear case 7, a safety cover 8 and the like is provided at a front portion of an operating rod 3, and the cutting blade 6 is attached to the operating rod 3 at a rear portion of the operating rod 3. A prime mover 10 for driving through an internally mounted transmission shaft 4 is attached, and an outer fitting portion 21 fitted to the rear end portion 3b and gripped on the rear portion of the operation rod 3 adjacent to the prime mover 10 and a grip A V-shaped or iron-shaped handle 20 is attached to the handle 20 and is disposed between the output transmission connecting portion 11 of the prime mover 10 and the prime mover 10 and the handle 20. A storage portion 25 that can store the vibration isolating member 17 is provided, and a flexible shaft is used as the transmission shaft 4, and the front end side of the operation shaft 3 is curved so that the front end portion 4 a of the transmission shaft 4 and the cutting blade 6 are curved.
