abstract | Provided is an inexpensive wood-based adhesive composition that does not emit formaldehyde or an irritating odor, does not cause skin fogging, wood contamination or discoloration, has a long working life, and is excellent in water resistance and heat resistance. (A) A carboxyl group-modified aqueous emulsion resin or latex resin, and (B) a N, N-diglycidylamino group-containing compound as a tetrafunctional epoxy compound having a tertiary amino nitrogen atom. 3 to 150 parts by weight of the N, N-diglycidylamino group-containing compound is contained with respect to 100 parts by weight of the carboxyl group-modified aqueous emulsion resin or latex resin having a modification amount of 0.1 to 20 mol% by weight. The filler is contained in an amount of 0 to 500 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the carboxyl group-modified aqueous emulsion resin or latex resin. [Selection] No figure |
