titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of magnetic recording medium and magnetic recording medium |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to improve the smoothness of an undercoat layer containing a compound having a radiation-curing functional group that is cured by irradiation with radiation, thereby improving the smoothness of a magnetic layer. A magnetic recording medium in which a magnetic layer is provided on a nonmagnetic support 12, and an undercoat layer coating containing a compound having a radiation curable functional group that is cured by radiation irradiation is applied to the support 12 with a coating coater 16. In a method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium, in which an undercoat layer that has been cured after application is provided between a nonmagnetic support and a magnetic layer, an undercoat layer coating material is prepared and fed to a coating coater 16. In the liquid feed line 40, the undercoat layer paint is handled under the condition that the compound in the undercoat paint does not polymerize or aggregate. [Selection] Figure 1 |
