titleOfInvention | Catalyst for addition polymerization of cyclic olefin and method for producing cyclic olefin addition polymer using the same |
abstract | Provided are a cyclic olefin addition polymerization catalyst excellent in addition polymerization activity of a cyclic olefin containing a hydroxyl group and / or an acetyloxy group, a process for producing the cyclic olefin addition polymer, and a cyclic olefin addition polymer. A complex of a group 10 transition metal of the periodic table, preferably a cation complex represented by the general formula (1), having a carbene compound as a ligand, is used as a polymerization catalyst. (In the formula, L 1 represents a carbene compound ligand, L 2 represents a neutral electron-donating ligand. L 1 and L 2 may be bonded to each other to form a multidentate ligand. [Y 1 ] − represents a monovalent anion.) [Selection figure] None |
