[Solution] Maintain the temperature of the mixture of the test water and the substrate for the biosensor within a temperature range where the correlation and reversibility of the oxygen consumption rate of the test water and the liquid temperature are maintained. The output value of the dissolved oxygen sensor in such a state is stored, and the stored output value is set as the zero point calibration value of the biosensor. Further, based on the measured value in a state where the test water is kept at a low temperature, a difference value between the value calculated from the value and the zero point calibration value is calculated, and the difference value is used as a measurement range to increase the span.
