titleOfInvention Droplet ejection device, electro-optical device manufacturing method, electro-optical device, and electronic apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device or the like capable of efficiently detecting missing dots and reducing a cycle time for detecting missing dots. SOLUTION: The functional liquid droplet ejection head 82 is driven to eject while moving the head unit 13 mounted with the functional liquid droplet ejection head 82 relative to the workpiece W set on the set table 21 in the main scanning direction. The droplet discharge apparatus 1 that performs drawing on the workpiece W includes a discharge defect inspection unit 17 for inspecting a discharge defect of the functional droplet discharge head 82, and the discharge defect inspection unit 17 includes the function droplet discharge head 82. A drawing unit 161 on which a predetermined inspection pattern is drawn, and a discharge failure determination unit 162 that picks up the drawn inspection pattern and recognizes an image to determine a discharge failure. 161 is disposed on a main scanning movement axis that is deviated from the set table 21 in the main scanning direction.
