PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in gas barrier property and secondary moldability at low temperature and a multilayer structure using the same. An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a water-swellable layered inorganic material (B), wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) contains the following structural unit (1). It is an alcohol copolymer, preferably obtained by melt-mixing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) having a water content of 20 to 70% by weight and a water-swellable layered inorganic substance (B). [Chemical 1] (Here, X is a bond chain and is an arbitrary bond chain excluding an ether bond, R1 to R4 are each independently an arbitrary substituent, and n represents 0 or 1.) |
