PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of producing an azo pigment dispersion having a small particle size and a uniform particle size by using a simple process. A method of producing an azo pigment dispersion in which a solution containing a diazonium compound and a solution containing a coupling agent are reacted to disperse the azo pigment, wherein the reaction is performed by dispersing the azo pigment in a solvent. And a method for producing an azo pigment dispersion which is carried out in the presence of an alkaline pH buffer having a buffering action. [Selection] Figure 3 |
