titleOfInvention Razor blade system
abstract The retention and position of various elements of the system is ensured while using the system. The safety razor system includes an elongated housing that is pivotally attached to a member that connects the housing to a handle. The housing 12 is substantially rectangular and has an arcuate end. A plurality of shave blades 16 and a protective member 28 extend from the upper surface of the housing, and an annular retaining clip 20 is disposed at the periphery of the housing to hold the shave blade 16 on the housing 12 and against the protective member 28. It plays the role of positioning the shaving blade. The connecting member 14 rotatably supports the housing by four coaxial bearing surfaces 58, 59, 60, 61 that come into contact with the engaging surface on the housing while the housing rotates with respect to the connecting member.
