abstract A fuel tank that can be attached to a polymer fuel tank and has a simple component structure and reduced manufacturing costs. In a fuel tank component, a connector that can be welded to a polymer fuel tank is securely coupled to a housing by chemical bonding instead of a mechanical engagement structure. Both the connector 104 and the housing 102 are preferably made of a modified material that can be chemically bonded to each other.
