titleOfInvention Mass spectrometry method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: At present, in GC / MS, negative chemical ionization is spreading as a highly sensitive measurement method with high selectivity. However, the mass spectrum obtained by the negative chemical ionization method has little information, and it is desired to use a retention time or retention index of chromatography for identification. However, the retention index cannot be used in the negative chemical ionization method, and a standard substance must be prepared and the retention time must be measured. [Solution] Fatty acids having different numbers of carbons are derivatized with a derivatizing reagent to make “NCI reference material”. Under the same conditions, the retention time of the “reference substance for NCI” and the retention time of each component are obtained and set as the “retention index for NCI”. If this “NCI retention index” is used, the retention time can be corrected without measuring the standard substance. [Selection] Figure 1
