[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition that imparts environmental stress tolerance to a plant containing a yeast cell wall enzyme degradation product. Moreover, this invention provides use of the yeast cell wall enzyme degradation product for providing the environmental stress tolerance of a plant. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for improving the environmental stress tolerance of plants by adding a yeast cell wall enzyme degradation product to the plant active agent. Moreover, this invention provides the cultivation method including providing the said pharmaceutical composition to the seedling and / or seedling after planting. [Selection figure] None
