| abstract | A hydrogen detector having high corrosion resistance against liquid sodium and high safety is provided. A hydrogen detector for detecting a hydrogen concentration in a liquid, comprising a bottomed hydrogen concentration meter suspended from liquid sodium (Na) in a liquid sodium circulation pipe, and an upper portion of the hydrogen concentration meter being blocked. And a hydrogen gas supply pipe for supplying a reference hydrogen gas (H 2 ) to the bottom side of the hydrogen concentration meter through the lid, and a hydrogen gas discharge for discharging the reference hydrogen gas (H 2 ) A pipe, electrodes attached to the inside and outside of the bottom of the hydrogen concentration meter, a voltmeter for measuring an electromotive force between the inside electrode and the outside electrode, and a liquid from a gutter sandwiching the lid A device that is suspended by sodium (Na) and has a protective tube with an open lower end surrounding the hydrogen concentration meter is used as a hydrogen detector for detecting the hydrogen concentration in the liquid.
