[PROBLEMS] To provide lubrication for copper pipe processing that has excellent boundary lubricity and formability in drawing or rolling, can suppress copper adhesion to the plug and generation of copper wear powder, and has a small amount of residual oil after annealing. Provided is a lubricating oil for copper pipe processing. As additives, 5-40% alcohol, 1-20% phosphate, amine derivatives, alkyl sulfonates, alkylene oxides of polyhydric alcohols having a number average molecular weight of 200 to less than 1000 and 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups 0.01-2.0% of one or more kinds selected from adducts and hydrocarbyl ethers thereof, hydrocarbyl ethers of polyalkylene glycols having a number average molecular weight of 120 to less than 1000, and dihydric alcohols having 2 to 10 carbon atoms . The balance contains at least one polyisobutylene having an average molecular weight of 30,000 or more and at least one isoparaffin or polyisobutylene having an average molecular weight of 400 or less as a base oil.
