The present invention provides a polyester resin composition having excellent laser welding characteristics and a molded article firmly bonded by laser welding. SOLUTION: (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin composition is blended with (b) 0 to 100 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler and (c) 0.01 to 1 part by weight of a colorant. ) A polyester resin composition for laser welding, wherein the colorant is a methine dye. Preferred (a) polyester resin is polybutylene terephthalate, preferred (b) reinforcing filler is glass fiber treated with a surface treatment agent, and preferred (c) methine dye is C.I. I.
