The present invention relates to a reliability transition method between scheduling modes in uplink in a wireless communication system. Transitions between scheduling modes are made using signaling between the wireless communication device and the base station as much as possible, and in most cases provide low-latency transitions. Advantageously, direct signaling between the wireless communication device and the network control element may be used. In addition, this method allows the network control element to function to ensure that all base stations support the current scheduling mode used by the wireless communication device, so that the wireless communication device is in soft handoff situation. It can also operate efficiently when communicating with multiple base stations. |
