titleOfInvention Broadcast data transmission / reception method and apparatus using external code in mobile communication system
abstract The present invention is an efficient broadcasting that minimizes the number of bits of data to be decoded at the receiving stage when transmitting a large number of broadcasting services to one channel by the TDM method in the transmitting stage of a system using a block interleaver. The present invention relates to a data transmission / reception method and apparatus. In the present invention, when a plurality of broadcast services are encoded using an outer code at the transmission stage and the encoded frames are transmitted by the TDM method, the broadcast service-specific frames are masked in sub-block units at the reception stage. It is characterized by receiving and decoding only the broadcast service frame. Therefore, the power consumption of the reception stage can be minimized as well as simplifying the configuration of the reception stage using the broadcast service. The present invention as described above is based on CDMA2000 1x Rev., which is a synchronous CDMA system. The present invention can be applied not only to D but also to a TDM system to which a similar form of interleaver is applied.
