abstract Disclosed is a method for releasing lubricant under the use of a lubricant dispenser, which allows for stable lubricant release, and in particular reduces the risk of lack of lubrication. To initiate the release of lubricant, a galvanic electric gas generating element 12 is delivered to the electrolyte liquid 7 and the lubricant is lubricated under the pressure of the gas generated by the electrochemical decomposition of the gas generating element 12. The material is squeezed out from the material tank 5 through the casing outlet 3. According to the present invention, the additional component 14 is simultaneously contained in the electrolyte liquid 7 by the galvanic electric gas generating element 12, and the electrolyte liquid is decomposed under gas generation into the electrolyte liquid 7 in a short period with respect to the total operating time.
