Medical pumps for water jet surgery are known. The present invention comprises at least two pistons provided with a piston rod for moving the piston in the cylinder and connecting to the pump actuator, a cylinder head for closing the cylinder, and a pressure chamber in the cylinder. The present invention relates to a pump comprising a valve device for connecting to at least one fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet, respectively. The fluid outlet portion is connected to the fluid inlet portion in communication with an adjustable pressure regulating valve so that the pressure at the fluid outlet portion is limited to a predetermined maximum value. In this way, the medical pump of the present invention can be easily adjusted. |
