abstract | The present invention is, inter alia, a process for preparing a compound of formula (I) comprising: (a) a compound of formula (II): 0.1-2 mol% 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2 .2] reacting with 2-cyanophenol or a salt thereof in the presence of octane, or (b) a compound of formula (III): with a compound of formula (IV): 0.1-2 mol% Reacting in the presence of 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2.2] octane; {wherein W is a methyl (E) -2- (3-methoxy) acrylate group C (CO 2 CH 3 ) = CHOCH 3 or a methyl 2- (3,3-dimethoxy) propanoate group C (CO 2 CH 3 ) CH (OCH 3 ) 2 , or a mixture of the two groups}. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a novel precursor of the compound of formula (I) and a process for preparing it. |
