Provided are a P-selectin ligand glycoprotein, a DNA sequence encoding the protein, a host cell transformed with the DNA sequence, and a method for producing a P-selectin ligand protein. A fusion protein comprising a first amino acid sequence comprising amino acids 42 to 88 of a specific sequence capable of binding to P-selectin, and (b) a second amino acid sequence derived from an antibody, which encodes the protein DNA sequences, host cells, and methods for producing P-selectin ligand proteins.
