PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate an amine liquid containing a heat-stable amine salt with a simple apparatus and operation, and to effectively use an ion exchange resin adsorbing a hardly decomposable component generated from the heat-stable amine salt. Proposed is a method for regenerating an amine solution that can be regenerated and can be regenerated and drained stably and stably with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A plurality of ion exchange devices 2 are provided in association with a gas purification device 1, a resin regeneration device 3 and a regeneration drainage treatment device 4 are provided as a regeneration center at a location away from the ion exchange device 2, and ion exchange is performed. The detachable exchange type cation exchange unit 5 and the anion exchange unit 6 are transferred back and forth between the apparatus 2 and the resin regenerating apparatus 3 and attached to the ion exchange apparatus 2 to exchange cations and anions contained in the amine liquid, respectively. After being adsorbed by the unit 5 and the anion exchange unit 6, it is desorbed and transferred to the resin regenerator 3 to regenerate the resin, and the regenerated waste liquid is regenerated by the regenerated drainage treatment device 4.
