Provided is a rubber composition for a tire that can maintain or improve wet grip performance in summer and winter and can improve grip performance on an ice surface. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A carbon component having 2 to 20 carbon atoms having a branched structure of at least 1 carbon atom with respect to 100 parts by weight of a rubber component made of at least one kind selected from natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, and styrene butadiene rubber. It is a rubber composition for tires formed by blending 3 to 50 parts by weight of an α-olefin oligomer having 16 or more carbon atoms obtained by oligomerizing the α-olefin.
