abstract |
A secondary battery capable of improving high-temperature characteristics is provided. An electrolytic solution is provided together with a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and a separator provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode is impregnated with the electrolytic solution. The solvent of the electrolytic solution contains a main solvent such as a cyclic carbonate having halogen and a sub-solvent such as a dimer of carbonate. Compared with the case where neither the main solvent nor the sub-solvent is contained, the chemical stability of the electrolytic solution is improved, so that the decomposition of the electrolytic solution is suppressed.
