abstract |
The present invention provides a non-chromium coating composition capable of forming a coating film excellent in corrosion resistance of a processed part and an end face part as well as corrosion resistance of a general part in a coated metal plate or the like. A coating composition containing (A) a hydroxyl group-containing film-forming resin, (B) a cross-linking agent, and (C) a rust-preventing pigment mixture, wherein the rust-preventing pigment mixture (C) comprises the resin. The amount of vanadium compound (1) is 3 to 50 parts by mass and the amount of calcium ion-exchanged silica fine particles (2) is 3 to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total solid content of (A) and the crosslinking agent (B). Part and the quantity of a phosphate metal salt (3) are 3-50 mass parts, and the coating composition excellent in corrosion resistance whose quantity of this rust preventive pigment mixture (C) is 10-150 mass parts.
