A negative lithographic printing plate precursor that can be developed on-press without performing a development processing step, and a lithographic printing method using the negative lithographic printing plate precursor. A negative lithographic printing plate precursor that can be developed with an aqueous solution having a water-soluble resin, and a lithographic printing method using the negative lithographic printing plate precursor. A negative lithographic printing plate precursor excellent in non-image area fine line reproducibility is provided even when printing using UV ink (ultraviolet curable ink) is performed. It is another object of the present invention to provide a negative lithographic printing plate precursor that achieves a good balance between fine line reproducibility and printing durability and suppresses the generation of residue during on-press development. A photopolymerizable layer having a hydrophilic group, a urea bond in a main chain, and a polymer compound having a carboxylic acid content of less than 0.05 meq / g is provided on a support.
