Provided is a technique capable of stably supplying a radioactive isotope efficiently and inexpensively without using concentrated 235 U and without generating a large amount of high-strength and long-lived radioactive waste. A material target is irradiated with fast neutrons from an accelerator, and a single neutron is irradiated to release one 4 He (n, 4 He) reaction to generate a radioisotope. Features.
