titleOfInvention | Method for producing retardation compensation film, retardation compensation film, composite polarizing plate, polarizing plate and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a retardation compensation film having an appropriate and sufficient retardation and biaxiality as an optical compensation member and having high durability under heating. A film obtained by using an amorphous resin and a thermoplastic elastomer resin substantially exhibiting a phase separation form with respect to the amorphous resin is at least one of the longitudinal direction and the width direction. And a heat stretching step for stretching while heating, and a heat treatment step for heat-treating the stretched film. In the heat stretching step, k is a stretching ratio in the heat stretching step, and ε (% / min) is an average strain rate. A method for producing a retardation compensation film satisfying the following formula (1) and the following formula (2) when the stretching temperature is Ts (° C.) and the glass transition temperature of the amorphous resin is Tg (° C.). 50 <ε / k <500 Formula (1) Tg <Ts <Tg + 20 Formula (2) [Selection figure] None |
