Method and apparatus for synthesizing useful substances |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for activating non-reactive, non-polar compounds. As one specific example, the method includes introducing a low reactivity compound into the catalyst. At least one of (a) an oxidizing agent or reducing agent and (b) a polar compound is imparted to the catalyst and the compound. An alternating current is applied to the catalyst to cause an activation reaction on the compound. This activation reaction creates a useful substance. |
