abstract 【Task】 The SCR catalyst composed of β-type zeolite containing iron has high NOx reduction performance at high temperature in the presence of a reducing agent, but the reduction performance at low temperature (200 ° C. or lower) is not sufficient. [Solution] X-ray crystal diffraction (302) containing iron having a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 0.28 to 0.34 ° and a 900 ° C. heat loss after hydration of 15.0 to 18.0% by weight. In the SCR catalyst comprising the β-type zeolite, a high NOx reduction rate of 45% or more at 200 ° C. or lower is achieved. The SCR catalyst can be produced by calcining β-type zeolite containing iron at 700 to 850 ° C. in an atmosphere having a water vapor concentration of 5% by volume or less. [Selection] Figure 4
