abstract The lifetime of a secondary battery is guaranteed. Line 23-1 is the full charge capacity ratio measured under a low battery voltage that does not cause storage degradation. Line 21 is the full charge capacity ratio measured under standard operating conditions that can guarantee the lifetime. Line 23-2 is a corrected full charge capacity ratio obtained by translating line 23-1 so that the end tf of the lifetime of line 21 coincides. When the full charge capacity of the secondary battery charged at the voltage of the standard use condition decreases according to the lines 25-1 and 25-2, the charging is low so as to deteriorate according to the line 23-2 after the times t1 and t2.
