titleOfInvention Redistribution of surplus power for full channel state information (CSI) multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems
abstract A method for redistributing surplus power for a full channel state information (CSI) multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) system is provided. The total transmission power can be initially distributed to transmission channels based on a specific power distribution scheme. This initial distribution can distribute more power to several transmission channels than is necessary to achieve the required signal-to-noise ratio. In such a situation, the present technology redistributes excess transmission power of transmission channels operating in the saturation region to other transmission channels operating in the saturation region or lower. In this way, higher data rates can be achieved for “poor” transmission channels without sacrificing the performance of “better” transmission channels. [Selection] Figure 2
