abstract |
The present invention provides a method for obtaining a high-quality polymer free from decolorization and insoluble components during the synthesis and processing of polycarbonate. In order to minimize the interaction between the polycarbonate and the metal, at least partly in the region of the metal surface in contact with the reagent of the device used to prepare or process the polycarbonate. A polycarbonate melt containing the compound is pretreated to passivate the metal surface of the device. [Selection figure] None |
