Electrostatic atomizer and vacuum cleaner |
abstract |
An electrostatic atomizer capable of immediately atomizing moisture is provided. An insulating sheet is disposed so as to cover a heat absorption side of a Peltier element. The front end side of the water absorbing electrode 91 is disposed to face the insulating sheet 97. Moisture is condensed on the surface 97 a of the cooled insulating sheet 97 by passing an electric current through the Peltier element 95 and adheres to the tip side of each water absorbing electrode 91. The water adhering to the distal end side of the water absorbent electrode 91 can be immediately atomized without sucking moisture from the proximal end side to the distal end side of the water absorbent electrode 91.
