abstract | The magnetic resonance inspection system includes a main magnet having a superconducting coil that generates a main magnetic field, and a gradient system that applies a gradient magnetic field superimposed on the main magnetic field. A cooling system cools the superconducting coil to a temperature below its critical superconducting temperature. A transfer monitor evaluates energy transfer from the tilt system to the cooling system. The transmission monitor is configured to measure a pressure change in the cooling system. This provides a simple way to evaluate the energy transfer from the gradient coil to the cooling system. |
