The present invention provides a method of detecting cancer using a biomarker. The present invention, in part, includes certain biological markers (referred to herein as “DETERMINANT”), such as proteins, nucleic acids, polymorphisms, metabolites, and other analytes, as well as certain physiological conditions. And relates to the discovery that the condition exists or changes in a subject at high risk of developing a metastatic tumor. Accordingly, in one aspect, the invention provides a method for assessing the risk of developing a metastatic tumor in a subject. |
