A method for directly liquefying cellulose biomass is provided. SOLUTION: Under a relatively mild condition, all organic substances including a saccharide component in cellulose biomass and a high molecular polymer such as lignin are liquefied in a short time to form a small molecule organic substance, that is, cellulose. It is a direct liquefaction method of cellulose biomass that can convert biomass into petroleum. The obtained renewable high-quality oil may be converted into liquid fuel such as gasoline or may be used as a raw material for the chemical industry. [Selection figure] None |
